IsoCal App

Take the guesswork out of building acoustics

Let IsoCal take care of the calculations and leave you with the results, so you can focus on your design.

Acoustics isn’t just about mathematics and physics, it’s about creating a space that sounds as good as it looks!

The app is fitting for architects, engineers and everyone else. Design and test your construction in seconds. View the acoustic behaviour to avoid expensive and unforseen consequences later on.

Version 1.4.7 – Nov 12, 2024

Fixes

  • Small corrections to some material properties and material texture.
  • Fixed the auto-scaling of the 2D Material Viewer for ‘Single Panel’ and ‘Double Wall’ calculation modules.
  • Fixed issues with the Diffuse Absorption coefficient calculation.

New Content

  • Added several new elastic line connections from from Hirakawa, S., Davy, J. L. (2015). “The equivalent translational compliance of steel studs and resilient channel bars”

Changes

  • Changed how the sound reduction is calculated above the cross over frequency (fs) for certain materials.
